Spring Season 2024 - New South Softball League

Spring softball season is just around the corner and we are looking forward to a great season.

We will begin our Spring season March 17th and run through June 23rd depending on possible rainouts.

This year, there will be no games on Easter March 31 (for Southern Shootout), Mother’s Day May 12, Memorial Day Weekend May 26, Pride Weekend June 9th, and Father’s Day weekend June 16th.

We are looking for new players of all skill levels from beginner to experienced. We have existing teams as well as teams that are forming that are looking for players. If you would like to form a new team to enter in the league you can contact us for info, we would love to have more teams added to our league.

We play games on Sunday afternoon at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 pm. Teams play 2 games each Sunday at George Ward Park.

Further, by my signature as a player or non-player, I agree that in consideration for the right to play as a member NSSL and in consideration for permission to play on the field arranged for by your team or the NSSL, voluntarily elect to accept and assume all risks of injury incurred or suffered by me while practicing or playing as a member of a team or the NSSL; while serving in a non-playing capacity as a team member during practice or play by other teams or by other persons on my team; and while on or upon the premises of any and all of the fields arranged for me by my team or the NSSL for practice or play. I release, discharge and agree not to sue the team or NSSL, the field owners or other entity designated to their owners, officers, agents, employees, associations, or any other person, entity connected with the team, league, or field for any claim, damages, costs or cause of action which I have or may in the future have as a result of injuries or damages sustained or incurred by me from whatever cause including but not limited to the negligence, breach of contract of wrongful conduct of the parties hereby released.
