I'm new. What do I need to do to get on a team?
The league conducts recruitment days prior to the start of the season. You must attend one of these in order to get rated, even if you’ve already committed to a team.
When does the league play?
New South Softball has seasons in Fall and Spring. Fall typically begins in September. Spring usually starts Mid-March.
Do I have to have experience to play?
Absolutely not! From 20 years to 0 days, the NSSL is for all skill levels.
What kind of bat can I use?
Per regulations, ASA certified bats are allowed in the NSSL. ASA recently merged with USA. So USA and ASA bats are allowed on the field of play.
